Excited to book 4/19 for week of 7/18! Please tell me how 'family style' works at ChipnDale's Harvest Feast. My family is picky-can teens and adults get food from the 'Young Gardener's' menu? Also, is it easy to take monorail to Chef Mickey's and returntoMK?

    Hi Jennifer,

Booking a Disney vacation and making all of the arrangements is almost as much fun as the trip, itself; the possibilities are endless!!  My family has dined at Garden Grille several times, and even with picky eaters in tow, we have enjoyed it.

Family style, means that your server will bring you a platter filled with all of the menu options.  If you request the children's option as well, then they will bring you two platters - one with the adult meal selections and one with the child's menu selections.  Your servers will come around and ask if they can get you more of anything.  You will not receive another entire platter, rather you will just be given those items that you and your family want more of.

As far as traveling to Chef Mickey's from the Magic Kingdom, it is extremely easy to take the monorail.  As you exit the park, the monorail station will be on your right.  If you want to get there even quicker, there is a walkway that leads to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom.

Hope this helps.  Have fun planning your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
