Hi Nikole!
A
first time Disney cruise? I could not be happier for you! It is going to be the most MAGICal adventure at sea for you and your crew. Planning those extra experiences is just the icing on the cake (the actual Disney cruise being the cake)!
I can understand why you would like for your princess to experience the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. However, to make a reservation for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, your child must be three years of age or older. Because your daughter will not yet be three, she will not be able to get a makeover there during this cruise.
As you discovered, Disney Cruise Line does have firm
age limitations to certain activities and experiences. For example, once a child turns 18, they have aged out of the Youth Clubs and cannot participate. So it’s not like they are trying to be CRUELLA to your two-year-old.
I know that’s not what you were hoping since she has friends who will be getting magical transformations. But instead you could have her pick out a favorite outfit in the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique shop so she could still become her favorite character. By the way, there are so many character sightings onboard now that I’ll bet that a fun interaction with one of the princesses will add the perfect dose of pixie dust to brighten her day! The best princess-themed ones generally happen in the Atrium, so be on the lookout for those opportunities using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo us more questions if you need a Fairy Godmother or Godfather’s advice again. Once you’ve set sail on this first Disney cruise, I hope you will be able to say that the glass slipper fit and the dream that you wished came true!
