We are so excited to be going back to DW but so bummed that it looks like there will be no Wishes Fireworks the week we are going (7/17 -7/23). Besides Illuminations & Fantasmic what other firework shows are there? Hoping for some pixie dust!

Hi Amanda! From what information I have gathered you will be very happy to know that Wishes will indeed be a nightly event during your July vacation. Sometimes things are not updated and current and mistakes on made on sites so let's hope that is what happened for you. From the sources I have it shows that the Wishes Fireworks will be each night at 10pm. The times can change so always pick up the most current Times Guide when you arrive at your resort.

Currently Disney has been debuting a wonderful fireworks show in Hollywood Studios called Symphony in the Sky. Unfortunately, they have an ending date of March 19 for this. I am hoping since the reviews have been great that they might consider continuing the show for several more months or even as a permanent Hollywood Studios event. Keeping fingers crossed for this as my next trip is the end of March and I had hopes to see this show.

If you want to add some pixie dust to your trip consider either an Illuminations or Wishes fireworks cruise. You can order special treats for the cruise or just enjoy the complimentary snacks and sodas that are offered. The pontoon boats hold ten persons and the entire boat is yours no matter how many you choose to invite up to ten.  Disney is not also offering a Ferrytale cruises where you embark out on the Seven Sea Lagoon in one of the large ferryboat. You will enjoy a great choice of desserts while viewing the firework show.

If you choose to stay on land then the Magic Kingdom also offers a fireworks dessert party in the park. You have great views of the castle and can watch Tinker Bell fly over your head which is always amazing. Lots to choose from and it usually ends up so little time to do it all. Have a wonderful summer trip and let us know if we can help you with more planning questions!
