Howdy Carolyn!
Welcome to
planDisney. Congratulations and welcome to the
Disney Annual Passholder family. Being annual passholders has been a great investment for our family since we travel to Walt Disney World so frequently. There are also many great perks that come with being a pass holder, and I would like to share a few with you. Before we do, let’s see if we can answer your question and get you on your way to your first visit.
Alrighty, so since it looks like y’all are from out of state, I’m going to assume that you have the Disney Incredi-Pass. This pass is Incredible because it allows you to hold up to 5 park reservations on a rolling basis and has no blockout dates. Ok, so the first thing I would always check is your Good-to-Go Days. These are select days when Passholders may visit the parks without needing a reservation. If so, then Hakuna Mata for your park day. So, in my experience as a Passholder, I have been able to change my park reservation on the day of the visit. It is certainly possible that the park you would like to switch to does not have any reservations available. In that case, I would suggest sticking with your original park until 10 AM, once park hopping becomes available to you. You can learn more about
Theme Park Reservations via this webpage.
Alright, now let's talk about some of the amazing benefits that go along with being a pass holder. If you decide to drive to the resort, you will receive standard parking at the included parks. Everyone loves discounts, and being a passholder means getting discounts on dining, merchandise, events & entertainment, and sports & recreation. We love passholder-exclusive items such as trading pins, shirts, and tumblers. Be sure to check out the passholder BUZZ section of the My Disney Experience app for the latest passholder news and information. In fact, the latest passholder magnet was just released, featuring characters from Toy Story.
Carolyn, I hope this helps with your planning as an Annual Passholder and that you have a magical year.
See ya real soon,
Robert
