Excited to be attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party next month! Question about costumes what time can / should adults change into their costumes? We'll be at Magic Kingdom all day even before the party and will keep them in lockers

    Hello Holly!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're my people. I always dress up in costume for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It helps me get into the spirit of things.

It's up to you when you'd like to change into your costume. Many people that just have a party ticket will enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 p.m. and will already be dressed in their spooktacular attire. Other guests like to wait until closer to party time if their costumes are hot, so they're not in them during the heat of the day.

I love seeing the creativity of other costumes; it's one of my favorite things about walking around Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You may want to change into your costume earlier if you plan on getting pictures with some of the characters before the party starts. Last year they had popular Disney characters like Jack Skellington and Sally come out around 5:00 p.m.
