Hey there, Brita! Thank you so much for bringing your question to planDisney! I just got SO excited for your family's upcoming trip back to The Happiest Place on Earth. I have loved experiencing the parks through the different ages of my kids, but I have to say the stage your kids are in is one of my favorites. They are most likely tall enough for every ride in the park, and that right there is a game-changer!
Since you are doing one park per day, I highly suggest checking out the all-new
Disney Genie+ service, at least for your Disneyland Park day -- as there are more attractions to conquer in this park. You can purchase this for each ticket as soon as you enter the turnstiles and are scanned in. This will let you grab Lightning Lane (similar to what was FastPass) reservations throughout the day for many experiences that will have longer wait times. My other tip that our family still incorporates on every trip is for each of us to pick our TOP
must-do experience. This helps manage expectations and gives us a good start to a game plan going in on our day. From there you can add in whatever else your family wants to explore and experience.
Brita, I hope this helps your family plan your trip to the Disneyland Resort. There's been many changes and additions since you last visited, so you have a lot of exciting lands and attractions to discover! Don't forget to take some breaks to enjoy all the
snacks, especially the Mickey-shaped ones. See ya real soon!
