Very excited to ask my first DCL?. NEVER been on a cruise before, booked concierge on disney Dream 4/11. Is the dining as cutthroat as WDW? Want to get all reservations set but do I need to be on the phone 120 days in advance at 7am or do they call me?

    Hi Jennifer,

I'm so excited to answer your first Disney Cruise Line question!  What is unique about a Disney Cruise Line vacation versus a Disney Parks vacation is that you are one of about 2,700-5,000 guests rather than one of tens of thousands of guests at the parks.  In my experience the concierge service has been spectacular and they made me feel as though I was their only passenger.

You will be given direct access to you concierge staff, and they will handle all of your reservations.  You simply call or email them upon receipt of their contact information and they will take care of the rest.  You should receive the contact information in plenty of time to take advantage of the concierge pre-booking opportunity for dining and excursions.  Keep in mind that your cruise must be paid in full before any reservations can be made.

    Hope this helps!
