    So excited! We are arriving for the 1st time 9/26 @ 6:05p.m. from Los Angeles. We are staying at Beach Club with kids 9 & 7. ?, what time do you think we would arrive at our resort and what suggestions do you have for our first night? AK next day.

    Hi Heather!  Wow what a great trip for your family to come from California to Florida!  Such a wonderful adventure!

    I always give myself two hours from arrival at the airport  to the resort. This might take less time but it gives me some time to work with if flights are delayed etc.  Since you will be coming from such a long distance and having a long air flight I would suggest a quiet evening at the resort.  You could make reservations for a late night dinner either at Cape May or the Yachtsman Steakhouse.  Since you will still be on California time you can then enjoy walking around the Boardwalk area for a bit.  It is a festive place in the evening.  You might even catch some of the movie night on the beach. Try to adjust as best you can and hit the sack as early as you can so you can be up early and out to Animal Kingdom to enjoy that great park with fresh bodies and minds!
