    Hello - we are excited for an April 2018 trip & have purchased a standard meal plan. For character meals (buffet), is a specialty or alcoholic drink included? How about for special events like Cinderella's Royal Table meal?

     Brittany, I am so excited to hear you have an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation that includes the Disney Dining Plan! My family loves the Disney Dining Plan for its convenience and flexibility. We frequently use our Table-Service entitlements on Character Dining Experiences, so I am happy to answer your question. 

     New for 2018, Guests on the Disney Dining Plan have more beverage options to choose from than ever before! Where available, Guests can order a single-serving specialty drink or, for Guests 21 and over, a single-serving alcoholic beverage, as part of their Quick-Service and Table-Service meal entitlements. This includes Character Dining Experiences with buffets like Chef Mickey's and Signature Dining Experiences like Cinderella's Royal Table.

     My best advice is to always ask the Cast Member serving you about what's included within your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Disney's Cast Members are just the friendliest, most helpful people you will ever encounter and they will be happy to show you what beverages on their menu are included with your meal entitlement.
