Welcome to planDisney, Cyndy!
The pandemic ruined Disneyland Resort plans for so many people. I'm so sorry that you weren't able to use your tickets. Since they were purchased so long ago, they are now likely expired. However, the original value of expired theme park tickets can always be applied towards the purchase of new tickets. Therefore, if you'd like to apply the value of your tickets to some new tickets, here's what you need to do: call
"Tickets" at Guest Services and a helpful Cast Member will soon have you flying to a whole new world.
Cyndy, some things have changed over the past couple of years. Guests now need both a
valid ticket and
theme park reservation in order to visit their desired park. Mickey and his pals like to know how many Guests they should expect each day. You can make theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. They can also be canceled or modified. Since each park has a capacity limit, you'll want to make your reservations sooner rather than later. Check out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to get an idea of park availability.
If you're like me and you like to experience as many attractions as possible, I'd also encourage you to purchase
Disney Genie+. This will enable you to make Lightning Lane selections at many of the attractions in the park and skip the regular standby lines. My family purchased Disney Genie+ for 5 days on our most recent visit and we didn't regret it. Another perk Disney Genie+ brings is being able to enjoy unlimited
Disney PhotoPass digital downloads each day. Again, my family really loved having all these memories to take home with us.
I hope that's helpful, Cyndy. I'm sure you'll more than make up for lost time when you visit. See ya real soon.
Mike
