Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!
Having the option of adding the
Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package is one of the best
Perks of Staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. My family and I absolutely love the added value and convenience of having meal credits included in our vacation package.
At Disney owned-and-operated restaurants, you may be able to exchange a single Quick-Service credit for three Snacks in a single transaction. That means that you will be unable to exchange and get your Snacks on three separate occasions or at three different locations, it must all be done at once.
I just spoke with a Cast Member at Disney Dining and confirmed that you may exchange Table-Service meal entitlements for Quick-Service meals or Snacks. However, in this case and at this time, a 3-for-1 dining credit trade ratio is not guaranteed. It will be at the discretion of the dining location. As always, any exchanges of dining entitlements must be approved by the restaurant manager.
As much as I love Churros, Mickey Krispie Treats and Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, exchanging Table-Service dining credits for Snacks is definitely not the most optimal way to redeem Table-Service dining entitlements. Instead, I recommend making advanced dining reservations at
Table-Service restaurants to use your Table-Service meal credits. Alternatively, downgrade your dining plan to the
Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan and pay out-of-pocket at Table-Service dining locations.
Wishing you a most unforgettable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
