Can you exchange your Florida Resident exchange certificate tickets at a water park? I've read that they can be exchanged at the theme park ticket windows and in Disney Springs, but we were going to start our day at Blizzard Beach. Is that possible?

Hey there Christina, and welcome to planDisney! You’ve brought us a truly splash-tacular question about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let’s dive right in!

Starting your day with some fun in the sun at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park sounds absolutely perfect. And let’s be honest, it’s as close as we Floridians are going to get to speeding down the slopes! So here’s the best news, Christina. I just chatted with a Cast Member who verified that you can indeed pick up and activate your Florida Resident Tickets at a theme park or water park ticket window or any Guest Relations location, including the one at Disney's Blizzard Beach. Just be sure to tuck your proof of Florida residency into your water park bag, and you’ll have your tickets to the magic before you can say “Meet you at Summit Plummet!”

I hope this helps your Disney day go swimmingly, Christina. Have all the fun, and please splash on by again if you have any more questions!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
