    How exactly do you do WDW on a shoestring budget? Do you stay at value resorts? Do the dining package? We're driving and it's so much cheaper to stay off site. What is the price to park each day if you are off site?

    Hi!!  We do stay at the value resorts.  Every three years we stay at a moderate or deluxe resort.   We have stayed off-site in an attempt to save money.  If that is your preference ask the hotel what time is the last shuttle to the hotel.  Many of the off-site hotels do have shuttle buses to the TTC at Walt Disney World.  What frustrated us, was the last bus left at 8 p.m. and so we had to find alternate transportation to the hotel.  The parking cost us eleven dollars a day last fall, but prices do increase and may be more.  We always travel during the Value Season.  We only purchase the Dining Plan if we are going to attend more than two Character or dinner shows.   Hope you have a fabulous trip!!  Heather M.
