Exactly where is the walking path from MK to the Contemporary Resort. I want to make sure that I don't end up making a Fast Pass selection at one end of the park when I need to be heading to my Chef Mickey reservation at the same time.

    Hi Kathryn!

You are going to absolutely love the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World! When we stayed there, we were so excited to be able to walk directly to Magic Kingdom! It saved so much time and was great for going back to the resort to rest in the room or dine at Chef Mickey! The walking path will wind from the resort up to the area where the resort buses drop off and then up to the central main gate, where you can go through bag check and enter the park.

If you have a FastPass reservation that is close to your Advanced Dining Reservation time, you may want to consider that you should allow an hour in between the time you leave the park and the time your reservation begins. It certainly doesn't take an hour to walk to the resort, but it is a good idea to allow time to navigate through the park, back up to the exit, especially if it is crowded.

The areas of the park that are closest to the entrance/exit are Main Street, Tomorrowland and Liberty Square. If you are looking for where to book your FastPass, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is a great choice as is Space Mountain
