What exactly is the Veranda at the Grand Californian? We’re coming in June and are going to book club level rooms there. One of the amenities was access to the Veranda and I couldn’t find what it was. Thank you.

    Hello Laura!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have got a head start on your Disneyland Resort vacation and I'm so excited to hear you are going to book a stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This is my favorite property on at Disneyland Resort. My kids still talk about the water slide and our pool day and I love that there is a separate entrance to Disney California Adventure Park for Guests.

One of the many perks of booking a club-level stay at any of the Disneyland Resorts is access to the club-level lounge. The concierge lounge at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is The Veranda. Every morning a continental breakfast will be available, followed by snacks and beverages in the afternoon. Every evening, you can relax in the lounge with appetizers and beer and wine offerings. Finally, in the late evening, you will find a Sweet Endings offering of desserts. If there is nighttime entertainment at Disneyland Park, I have heard that they will pipe in the music and dim the lights, so that you will be able to enjoy a beautiful display of the fireworks right from The Veranda balcony. I have heard so many excellent reviews of The Veranda and its offerings from friends who have booked a club-level stay there.

Disneyland Resort also recently announced the opening of the all-new Tenaya Stone Spa at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. At Tenaya Stone Spa you will be able to book many types of relaxing treatments and spa services. If you are up for an early morning adventure, it was also recently announced that you can book a Boot Camp or Power Walk experience through the spa and it will take place inside Disney California Adventure Park before it's open for Guests that day. How neat is that?!

Laura, I know whatever type of trip you are planning for this summer you will find magic wherever you go at The Happiest Place on Earth. Be sure to stop by again if you have any other questions during your planning adventure. See you real soon!

All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
