Hi Shirley,
When you are making your Walt Disney World vacation package, you will find the section and option for vacation insurance. According to Disney's Official Web site, the plan includes the following coverage and benefits, subject to certain exclusions and limitations:
• Trip cancellation/interruption, including coverage for nonrefundable unused prepaid airfare purchased through Walt Disney Travel Company, your Travel Agent or on your own, for covered reasons such as:
• Employee termination or layoff through no fault of your own after the effective date of coverage if you are an active employee with the same employer for at least one year (this coverage is not available to residents of Washington and Pennsylvania). • Called into active military service, or having military leave revoked, or being reassigned within 10 days of departure date • A disabling sickness, injury or death causing trip to be cancelled • Hurricane or inclement weather causing delay or cancellation of travel • Trip and baggage delay • Loss of baggage/personal effects • Emergency Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains • 24-hour emergency travel assistance I would suggest that you go HERE to price out your vacation to get the cost of the Vacation Insurance. I hope this helps!
Have a magical day!
