Hiya, Roberta! Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney!
My family just returned from a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation earlier this year and played the
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf for the first time, it was so much fun! I won, just in case you were curious. I would be happy to help you find your way to
Disney’s Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf so you can focus on sinking your competition and getting multiple hole-in-ones!
Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf Course is located between
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve and Walt Disney World Swan Hotels, off Epcot Resorts Blvd. I was able to find its location through two different online map sites if you want to give that a try to get your bearings. As for parking, I spoke to a Cast Member who confirmed that you can park at Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and have your parking validated by Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course. I would double-check this with the parking lot attendants upon arrival, just to be safe.
Alternatively, if you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you could utilize the complimentary resort transportation and ride the bus to either Disney’s Boardwalk Inn or
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and walk over, although it is a little bit of a hike. If you do this, you will walk on the path towards the Disney World Swan Hotel and just before you reach the beach, there is a walking path that will take you over Epcot Resorts Blvd. and to the entrance for the Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf Course. If you find your way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, taking a boat ride to either of those hotels and then starting your walk is also an option.
The ideal round of miniature golf to me, would start with finding my way to Disney’s Yacht and
Beach Club Resort, walking to Fantasia Gardens Mini Golf, defeating my wife and kids, and then walking back for celebratory ice cream from
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (the Kitchen Sink features 8 scoops of ice cream)! I am visualizing defending my title and my celebratory dessert as I type.
I hope this information helps, Roberta! If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to
submit one to me directly. And remember, keep your head down, have a nice slow backswing, and send that ball home!
Good luck!
Brent
