What exactly are "Disney Dollars" and how do you obtain them? Do you have to use them to purchase food and other items, or will we be able to use cash/credit cards? Thanks!

Hello - Disney Dollars are commemorative currency that can be used at Walt Disney World and the Disney Store.  At those locations, they have the same value as US dollars.  The designs on them make them really fun for children, as well as adults, but you are certainly able to use regular dollars and credit cards.

To purchase them, I usually go to a local Disney Store.  They are also available from third-parties and through Walt Disney World ticketing.  You can find out more information at the unaffiliated website DisneyDollars.net.

    Have a great trip!
