What exactly are considered snacks under the Disney Dining Plan? Where do you find these snacks?

    Hi Lindsay,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel about the Disney Dining Plan. Snacks on the Disney Dining Plan are food items that are essentially single serve items like a Mickey Ice Cream bar, a piece of fruit, or a cupcake. Snack items can be found all over the theme parks and resorts in Quick-Service restaurants, outdoor carts, and even some merchandise locations. They are easy to identify with the small purple box located next to them on the menu board. Please know that items that have a souvenir-element about them (glow cubes, popcorn containers, etc) and alcoholic beverages do not qualify. If you are unsure, a cast member can help you.

You can actually be a little creative with the snack credits. For example, at Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies at the Magic Kingdom, fruit smoothies count as a snack credit.  For my family, that's a yummy breakfast!  If you do a quick internet search for Best Use of WDW Snack Credits, you'll find other suggestions on how best to maximize your dollar on the plan. Also, if you don't use all your snack credits, make sure to grab some goodies to bring home with you on your final day!

If we can help with any further questions, please let us know.  Wishing you a Delightfully Disney Day!  -Kara
