Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Terri!
You are as welcome as can be at planDisney! How wonderful you are think
ing of sharing your Disney Vacation Club Membership with a friend. It is one of the wonderful benefits of Membership. DVC opens up a whole new world of affordable vacations for us and our friends and family. In fact, my first DVC stay was when my parents gifted us our honeymoon, and it sparked the magic in us to join
Disney Vacation Club.Terri, it is very easy for you to use your Disney Vacation Club Points to make your friend's reservation and there are two ways to do this. You can log into your Disney Vacation Club account, search for the dates and select the Disney Vacation Club Resort and length of stay. Then, when you get to the step that asks for the Guests' information, enter your friend as the Guest. Alternatively, you can contact
Member Services, and the oh-so-helpful Cast Members can use their magic wands to make this reservation for you. It's as simple as Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!
Your Vacation Points will cover the costs of the
Disney Vacation Club Resort room for your friend, and the reservation will be under their name. However, they will need to add a credit card for incidentals during their stay.
Now, one fun piece of magic your Guest will enjoy is the
benefits of staying at a Disney Resort, which includes complimentary transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, the convenience of
MagicBands,
Disney Genie+ access beginning at 7:00 a.m. on their theme park day and of course being immersed in the magic. If they are staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort, your friend can also enjoy Extended Theme Park Hours and of course, the benefits of a home away from home.
I hope this helps you, Terri. If you have any additional Disney Vacation Club or Disney planning questions, stop back and
see me here and I'll be so happy to help you. Remember, you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
Keri
