Where exactly do I board the monorail from Art of Animation resort to go to dinner at Chef Mickey's? Or is it faster to take the bus?

    Hi Crystal!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort does not offer monorail service as a form of transportation. The only resorts that offer the monorail service are Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village and Disney's Grand Floridian. Disney's Art of Animation solely offers bus transportation to the theme parks, water parks or Disney Springs. There is no resort to resort bus transportation.  My recommendation would be to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then board the Resort Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort, where Chef Mickey's is located. You can also walk over from Magic Kingdom using the designated walk way. Be sure to take into account the travel time when utilizing the bus transportation and the monorail transportation as it can make you late for your reservation, if you don't plan accordingly. Also, please note the complimentary transportation is available from 45 minutes prior to Disney Theme Park opening time up to one hour after Disney Theme Park closing time. Lastly, you could also take a taxi directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort as well. Hope this helps!

Did you know?: Staying at a Disney Resort comes with lots of benefits. One of my favorites are the Extra Magic Hours where Guests can enjoy the parks before they open to the general public and after they close to the general public. Additionally, Disney Resort Guests can make their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days before check-in when you have a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation!
