What exactly is Ariel's Grotto going to be when it opens? I can't seem to find whether it will be a meet & greet, ride, or restaurant. I have never gone to WDW with kids when there was one open before so I never even knew it existed before!

    Hey Heather,

New Fantasyland is going to be simply amazing. I can not wait for it to all be completed.

Ariel's Grotto was a former meet and greet location located in Fantasyland Magic Kingdom Park.  Ariel was kind enough to lend her space to the New Fantasyland expansion.  Now, Ariel will have her very own attraction in New Fantasyland called  Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.

At this time, we do not know if a new Ariel meet and greet will be located in this area.  We do know the new attraction is scheduled to open this holiday season.  The Disney Parks Blog recently posted some amazing photos of the attraction queue area.  Click the link to check them out-it's stunning!

Come back and see us again real soon, Heather.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
