If my ex husband made an account and linked all of our tickets there how do I get my tickets/reservations to show in my account also?

    Hi Casey,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! We’re here to answer your questions whether you’re just beginning your vacation planning process or just returning home from your most recent Walt Disney World visit. Since your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up soon, let’s get down to business.

It sounds like you already have your own My Disney Experience account. If that’s not the case, you’ll need to create an account. Once you are logged in to your own My Disney Experience account, visit your Family & Friends List. If you’re on the Walt Disney World website, click “My Disney Experience” in the top right corner and select “My Family & Friends.” If you are in the My Disney Experience mobile app, click on the three horizontal bars in the bottom right of the screen, scroll down to “My Account” and select “Family & Friends List.”

The next steps are the same whether you’re on a web browser or in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Scroll down to “+ Add a Guest.” You can choose to "add through connected guests," "add through a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation," or "enter their name and age." If you enter through name and age, you’ll be asked to enter your ex-husband’s email address associated with his My Disney Experience account. He will then receive an email asking to share planning with you. If he accepts, you will be connected through your Family & Friends list.

Once you’re connected, he will need to go in to his My Disney Experience account to the “Tickets and Passes” section. He should select the ticket that needs to be transferred to your name, click “Reassign Ticket” and choose your name.

To see shared plans, you’ll each need to go to your Family & Friends List, select each other’s names and choose to either share “All My Plans” or “Only Our Shared Plans.” I also recommend checking the “My Disney PhotoPass Photos” box at this time if you plan on purchasing Memory Maker for your upcoming trip.

I hope this was helpful, Casey. If you have any issues completing this process, I recommend calling the number listed under “My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+” for assistance from a Cast Member. If you have any other planning questions, come see me again at planDisney!

Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
