Disney Genie+ service gives Guests access to
Lightning Lane attractions at over 40 attractions throughout the four theme parks. It can be added to certain kinds of tickets in advance for the duration of your stay or day-of in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. I'm sorry to hear about your Stitch-uation. Let's see if we can troubleshoot the problem and get that Genie out of the proverbial bottle for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Let's start by making sure your tickets are correctly
linked in My Disney Experience. In the
My Disney Experience mobile app, click the three lines at the bottom right of the home screen and "Tickets and Passes." See your tickets? If you scroll to a specific ticket, you may see the option to "Modify" your ticket. This is where you can add Disney Genie+ service for the duration of your ticket. If you do not see this option, no worries. I don't either. We can still purchase Disney Genie+ service on the morning of each park day as early as 12:00 a.m. I typically purchase by 6:45 a.m. so I can make my book my first Lightning Lane attraction at 7:00 a.m.
To purchase Genie+ the morning of your park day, click the three lines at the bottom of the My Disney Mobile app home screen and "My Genie Day." Scroll to the purple banner that says, "Get Disney Genie+ service for Today." The next steps ask you to Confirm Your Party. You can select eligible members of your
Family and Friends list with valid admission for that day.
I'm glad to hear you also have your
theme park reservations, which are required for park entry. The last piece of the park entry puzzle is a method of entry (
MagicBand, admission card, or
Disney MagicMobile pass). Please return to planDisney you need to dig a little deeper into any of these vacation components.
