How come everytime im on the Disney site I try to go to the tickets and it only has options for 10 and up? Do I not need tickets for kids under the age of 10?

    Hi there, Skyler!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm happy to help!

It sounds like you're in the planning stages of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm excited to hEAR you'd like to purchase Theme Park Tickets for a visit to Walt Disney World's four amazing theme parks: Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. With so much to see and do, there's magic and fun for Guests of all ages!

I went to the Walt Disney World Resort website to look and see if I would encounter the same issue you're having as you shop for Theme Park Tickets. Guests ages 3 and up are required to purchase a ticket to enter the theme parks, so I wanted to see why you weren't seeing that option.

On the website, if you hover over the "Parks & Tickets" heading, you'll see a drop-down menu that includes "Admissions". Select "Theme Park Tickets", and you'll be taken to the ticketing page. You'll then need to select "Standard Theme Park Ticket". On the next screen, you'll first be prompted to "Check Park Reservation Availability Before Purchasing". This is very important, as Disney Park Pass reservations are required to enter the theme parks on specific days. You'll want to check the Theme Park Availability Calendar to make sure the park you'd like to visit has availability on your selected day. Once you've confirmed you'll be able to make a Disney Park Pass reservation, it's time to purchase your tickets!

You'll first select the number of days you'd like to visit, then the Ticket Type (1 Park Per Day, Park Hopper option, Water Parks and Sports Option, or Park Hopper Plus Option). Next, you'll see a calendar, which will show the ticket price for each day, for Ages 10+, before tax. Once you've selected the starting date for your tickets, you'll scroll down and be able to select the number of tickets you'd like to purchase. It's there that you'll see the price options for Ages 10+ and Ages 3-9 (children younger than 3 do not require a ticket, as they are Guests of Mickey Mouse). Once you've secured your Theme Park Tickets and Disney Park Pass reservations, you're all set for your magical visit to Walt Disney World!

I hope this helps you navigate your Theme Park Ticket purchases, and you'll soon be counting down the days until you're at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
