Hello, dear Faith!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's so great to have you here once again. You're always welcome to
be our Guest and pull up a chair as we proudly present your answers!
I jumped to answer your question because my husband and I had the same planning question the last time we discussed dining at the
Be Our Guest Restaurant. I tend to be a light eater, and he has had bariatric surgery, so we had to come up with a plan, and now I'm super excited to share it with you.
We decided to
share breakfast at the
Sleepy Hollow early in the morning, split a delicious
Grilled Shrimp Skewer from
Columbia Harbour House for lunch, and book Be Our Guest Restaurant for dinner. This strategy allowed us to get hungry enough to enjoy all our courses at dinner, and it was fantastic!
My husband ordered the Assorted Meats and Artisanal Cheese Selection as an appetizer, and I chose the Maine Lobster Bisque. This combination was perfect for us to share. The meats and cheeses worked more like an amuse-bouche, and we split the bisque. As our main courses, we chose the light Pan-seared Sea Scallops and the heavier Center-cut Filet Mignon, and they were both fantastic. Finally, desserts at Be Our Guest Restaurant are
really cool because they come in small bites that won't get you full, so that's an excellent option for families like yours and mine.
Since Beast welcomes the Guests at Be Our Guest Restaurant on a
prix fixe menu system, dinner and lunch are charged per person, so it's not possible to split a single meal between two people. I hope that my family's experience helps you plan for the perfect day at
Magic Kingdom Park, Faith!
If you want more advice to plan your visits to the other
Theme Parks, please don't hesitate to come back to us. We love to share our foodie advice!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
