Hi there Tammy! The first trip is always so memorable! I'm sure that you are going to have a wonderful time! Budgeting for food is a very tricky thing when you are talking about Walt Disney World. With two adults, I would definitely look into the Disney Dining Plan! You would save money in the long run and it would make it much easier to plan your trip. If you are into food as I am, you will probably eat a nice breakfast at your resort, then a lunch at the parks (maybe counter service), and finally a sit down dinner at one of the table service restaurants. That basically explains the Disney Dining Plan.
Now, when you add a price to these options, breakfast can run you from $5-$15+ depending on the resort or park and that's not a Character Breakfast (usually from $20-$50). Lunch at a counter service restaurant would be from $7-$20+ depending on the restaurant and what extras you buy. Dinner at a table Service Restaurant is between $18-$60+ again, depends on what you order and drink. These prices are per person and vary between the resorts and restaurants. If you have an idea of where you would like to eat, or would like very accurate pricing, one of the best sites which states current menus with pricing is Allears.net or the individual restaurant pages on the Disney Website! Deb Wills does a fantastic job of keeping track of all that is Disney and they are all in one place! I hope this information helps you with your planning and if you have more questions, please ask away, we are always here to help! Have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
