Hello, Helen, and thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with your upcoming vacation! Birthdays are best spent at Magic Kingdom, so I am elated to hear about your plans for your daughter’s big day. There are a few things you can do to celebrate!
First of all, when you arrive in your
Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, press FRONT DESK on your room phone. The Cast Member you will be connected to can help you schedule a special birthday call from a character; right now, Goofy is placing the calls! Film your daughter answering the phone and magic will ensue! Secondly, when you arrive at a theme park ticket window, or a guest relations desk, ask for a Birthday button for your daughter. It will garner birthday wishes for the rest of the trip! Third, during your dining experiences, you may tell your waiter you have a birthday at your table; you never know what pixie dust they may offer! Stop in at The Chapeau or on your way out of visiting
Magician Mickey, purchase a birthday ears hat for your daughter and have her name embroidered. It’s a souvenir that lasts forever, because I still have my first pair of ears!
You can also make her an appointment for a magical braid or haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop or a watery
Mermaid Makeover at the Pirates League - there are no high-end age limits! In fact, I have a mermaid makeup session on my wish list for my next visit during the Halloween party! If you have any more questions about your upcoming visit, please let me know. For now, I wish you a Happy UNbirthday! ~ Lindsey P.
