Everyone's on the DDP food plan but what do you suggest I do about my 2 year old. He will be really upset about everyone eating. What food should I bring in? Or can I buy something for him?

    Hi Cynthia,

I think bringing a two year old to WDW is such a great value especially when you are on the meal plan.  At all of the buffet restaurants your son can eat all he wants from your plate.  If you ask nicely most servers won't mind if he has his own plate, and they won't charge you.

Other meals where dinner is served family style, like the Garden Grill, your son again can eat off your plate or the server will bring out something small and on the house.  When we were there, my two year old daughter was served a bowl of buttered noddles and she was surprised by a cupcake for dessert.

When you eat at a counter service establishment, you will have to order a separate meal or share from someone else's plate.  The same will go for restaurants where everyone orders directly from the menu.  The kids meals are not that expensive and the server will be able to charge you for his meal while using the meal plan credits for everyone else.

    Have a great time
