Hi Kristen,
I am so excited for you and your husband as you plan to explore Walt Disney World with your little princess this spring. While I have traveled to Disney many, many times as both a child and adult, my most favorite memories have been as a mom. Seeing my kids light up as they experience all the magic and wonder of this special place makes it that much more special. So, I am sure you and your husband will have an absolute blast on this trip. As you plan your trip, I would strongly suggest taking a look at the official
Walt Disney World website page specifically for traveling with little ones. This helpful page has links for different guides such as attractions that are best for the really young, itinerary guides, and special offers.
In regards to which theme parks to visit, I would highly recommend visiting Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom, first and foremost, as they have always tended to be my kids' favorites with lots of things for young toddlers to see and do. Don't get me wrong, Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios do offer attractions and activities for little ones, but in my personal opinion, the other two have more to see and do for the younger tots. If she loves Mickey, you will be able to meet him at all four parks, if you so choose. Just be sure to check a times guide or the My Disney Experience mobile app for the exact location and times the day of your visit. Breakfast or dinner at
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort might be right up your alley. This is a very popular character meal, so be sure to book as soon as possible since many dining locations can book up 180 days in advance. You can make dining reservations online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463).
May your trip be filled with pixie-dusted memories!
