Hi everyone!! Me and my husband would be on our first Disney Cruise in January, and there’s a Star Wars day at sea, would there be a pirate night as well? We really would like to take advantage of everything. It will be a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise.

    Ahoy Luisa!

A 7-night Eastern Caribbean voyage on the Disney Fantasy as your first Disney cruise? Shiver me timbers! Perhaps I should say you are making the jump to hyperdrive since it’s going to include a Star Wars Day at Sea. My family found this itinerary simply out of this galaxy!

Consider me your Obi-Wan Kenobi as I share all the fun that’s in store on your Star Wars Day at Sea. Get ready for special menus, character meet and greets, and live shows. Keep your eyes peeled for those First Order Stormtroopers though; they are exploring the ship, constantly looking for rebels!

Our favorite moments were the character interactions with the likes of Darth Vader and C-3PO; the “Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple” experience where young padawans learn how to become Jedis; all the Star Wars movies playing in the Buena Vista Theatre; and the “Summon the Force” deck party and fireworks show. Iconic Star Wars music plus fireworks at sea equals chill bumps!

Batten down the hatches...you also have a Pirate Night on your sailing! My best guess is that Pirate Night will be on the fourth night of your cruise after a port stop in Tortola! What makes this itinerary so much fun is how everyone gets in the spirit of the theme days by dressing up. You’ll want to leave plenty of room in your luggage for costumes and accessories that will kick your Star Wars Day at Sea and Pirate Night experiences up a notch.

Like a Jedi needs a lightsaber, you’ll need the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to stay on top of all the activities and entertainment throughout your cruise. Luisa, should you have any other questions, feel free to use the Force and summon us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. “We will be with you, ALWAYS!”
