Hello Everyone, I made reservations for California Grill for our upcoming August trip. I made them for 7:40 pm. I was told we could stick around and watch Wishes from the balcony from the restaurant if we finish our dinner early. Is that true?

    Hi Erica!

May I just say, a dining experience at California Grill is truly amazing at any time of the day due to the gorgeous aerial views of Magic Kingdom Park and the resorts surrounding the area. However, enjoying a meal during or near the time of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is nothing short of magical! This event will most likely be one of the highlights of your Disney vacation!

While the restaurant itself is located on the 15th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll be checking in at the reception desk on the hotel's 2nd floor. When your table is ready, a host or hostess will take you in a special express elevator up to the restaurant. You are welcome to save your meal receipt as proof that you've been at this establishment at any point during the day in order to receive return admittance to the outside viewing areas. So, even if your delightful dinner ends prior to the fireworks starting, you'll still have access to the balconies outside later that same evening.

Thanks so much for visiting us here at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions my way in the days leading up to your August trip!
