Hi everyone!I love this panel! We are going to WDW in September of 09 with our 2 year old son. I am having a tough time deciding between the Animal kingdom Lodge or the Wilderness lodge. I didn't know if anyone could help me decide. Thanks again

Rachel, my family was in this exact situation a year ago.  Both resorts appealed to us, so we had a difficult time deciding between them.  Eventually, we settled on Animal Kingdom Lodge, and I'm so glad that we did.

At the time, my son was almost two and my daughter was three.  We had a savannah view room, and the kids loved watching the animals roam right outside our balcony window.  They stared, faces pressed against glass, for as long as we let them.  In addition, the pool is very kid friendly, although my son definitely preferred the kids' pool.  The Mara quick service restaurant is spacious and has lots of great kid options (my kids loved the Zebra Dome dessert), and Boma is, in my opinion, one of the best buffets at Walt Disney World.  Both of my children were able to find food they enjoyed.

The bus service, in general, was convenient.  We went in May and were never on a crowded bus.  Transit times between the resort and parks was less than I had anticipated.

Another benefit - after our kids went to bed, my husband and I each had a glass of wine (from a bottle purchased in the gift shop) while sitting on the balcony watching the animals.

    Good luck choosing!
