Hello everyone, I was just wondering what the difference is between the prefered rooms and the standard rooms at the all star movie resort? Is it worth spending the extra money? Also, is there a coffee machine in the rooms? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi, Rebecca!  The only difference between the Standard and Preferred Rooms at a Value Resort will be the location.  The Preferred Rooms will be located closer to the main pool, lobby, food court, and bus stop.   Besides that, the rooms are identical in size and amenities.   (We actually prefer a Standard Room at the Value Resorts - they are a bit more out of the way and generally quieter.)

There are no coffee machines in rooms of Value Resorts.   You can purchase coffee by the cup at the food court or purchase a refillable mug for about $12.95 plus tax that can be used at your resort for your entire stay for unlimited refills on coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soft drinks.    (Then take the mug home for a great souvenir!)

Havea a great stay at Disney's All-Star Movie Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
