Hello everyone! We will be visiting WDW for the first time 10/8/15-10/13/15. Can anyone give tips on what kind of weather to expect (although unpredictable) and type of clothing to pack for this time of year? 2 adults 2 children (8yrsold). Thank you !

    Hi Monica!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Your trip is right around the corner so let's help you get prepared to pack!

Fall, at least Florida-style, will begin to arrive by the time you get to Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is usually really nice this time of year as the humidity begins to drop. But that doesn't mean you'll need to pack those pants and long sleeves just yet. The temperature will still most likely be in the mid 80s with the average temperature for October being 84 degrees. The evening lows will likely be in the mid to upper 60s with the average low being 65 degrees for the month. There will still be plenty of sunshine and although unpredictable, there's definitely less rain than the summer months. So if I were you, I would pack shorts and short sleeves with a light jacket for everyone. For most of us in the rest of the country, Fall in Florida feels like summer to us so pack swimsuits too!

I hope you have an amazing First Visit and enjoy every second of it. I'll send some pixie dust for perfect weather for you!
