Hi everyone, we have our 9th trip this coming December, we can start booking dining tomorrow, our park hours are out as well for planning but I don't see any nighttime AK park hours, when are they going to be posted? Thanks and have a magical day!

    Hi Veronica,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I’ve got a visit to Walt Disney World Resort coming up in the late Fall this year, and the extended hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park weren’t out yet when I had to make my dining reservations. Unfortunately, we still don’t know when (or if) the Park’s hours are going to be extended for the rest of the year. It’s anyone’s guess at this point!

What I did in order to get around this issue was that I just picked a date when we would visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park at night and I made the latest possible reservation for that day. If the nighttime hours come out and that day isn’t included, there is one other day in my touring plan (a second night at Epcot) that I can modify in order to ensure that I get to see the Tree of Life “awaken” during our visit.

I would highly recommend keeping a close eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the coming weeks in order to get up-to-the-minute information about nighttime events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If the Park’s hours do get extended, they’ll be announced there first.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
