Hi everyone. We're traveling to WDW at the end of this month with our 3 children (7, 6, & 9 months) & we have the Plus DP. My older children prefer adult food. Can you suggest a few QS & TS restaurants without a kids menu or with more variet

    HI Kathryn,

My advice to you with regard to selecting Disney restaurants which offer a wide variety of foods for children would be to choose as many buffets as possible.  You will be amazed at the extensive and delicious buffets throughout Walt Disney World property.  Even though your older children will be paying the deeply discounted price of a child's Disney Dining Plan table service credit for each of these meals, they will have the same options on the buffet as the adults.  This is an extraordinary deal, especially for children like yours, who have a more sophisticated palate than most of their peers.

Here is a list of my favorite Disney buffets:

Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort
The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom
Biergarten at the Germany Pavilion in Epcot
Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios
Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
The Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club Resort
Boma in Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
Trail's End at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

As you can see, there are many great buffets from which you can choose.  I recommend you give a few of them a try.  You can make reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Please note that advance dining reservations are recommended at all of these locations.

Also, check out the menus on allears.net or the Disney Food Blog.  By looking at the detailed offerings at Disney's other table service and quick service restaurants, I'm sure you'll be able to scout out plenty of restaurants with food your kids will enjoy.

Wishing you a truly magical Disney vacation later this month!
