    Hello everyone~ I will be staying for the 4th time at the Grand Californian in November, Unfortunately, I have never had a room with a theme park view. So, I was wondering if there was a viewing area for World of Color similar to Top of World at Bay Lake

    Hi there Beth,

    Sounds like we have a lot in common when it comes to Disneyland!  Grand Californian is probably my favorite hotel and World of Color is always one show that tops my "must see" list on each visit!  SInce World of Color is just SO fabulous, I am happy to hear that you're trying to stake out the most optimal viewing spot now.  

    Unfortunately, if you are not booked into a "theme park view" room at Paradise Pier Hotel, your best bet for catching the best views of the show will be from within California Adventure Park.  There is no "public" viewing area at the Grand Californian, and only certain DVC room that overlook DCA have views of the show.  There are also rooms in the Paradise Pier Hotel that overlook the side of Paradise Bay and World of Color and the audio from the show can be piped in through the in-room television.

    To insure the best possible location with little effort of hassle, consider extending your experience by booking a World of Color Dining Package!  This will entitle you to a delicious meal at one of California Adventure's lovely restaurants PLUS preferred viewing for World of Color!  My favorite option, is Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge and guests who select this location as their dining choice will be granted access into the BEST and most ideal viewing area... although there really isn't a bad spot!
