    Hi everyone! My son's birthday is Dec-31 and we`ll be in MK in this day. We did reservation for Chef Mickey's at 11:00 am. Do you have another suggestion for this so special day?

    Hi Cristina!  Wow a New Years Eve birthday!  Your son will never have to plan a party as there will always be one planned for him!

    I want to alert you to one issue.  The Magic Kingdom will be the first park that becomes closed to guests on this very busy day.  Most families want to spend the evening party here where there is a good family atmosphere.  It is a confusing issue every year as to whether once you are in the park if you are allowed to leave and return later.  I know this since I spent the millennium New Years at Disney. It was crazy, confusing, but incredibly fun!

    Keep your Chef Mickey's reservation but continue to try to get some sort of legitimate confirmation that you would be allowed to return to the park after this meal if the park closes to capacity.  It would be devastating if you weren't able to get back.  I suggest you try to make in park dining reservations also just in case.  Don't take the word from a cast member...go to the top to get the information!
