Hello Daniela! Welcome back to planDisney!
Great to talk with you again, Daniela! September is my usual month for a Disney trip to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife! I’m excited that you will enjoy the magic during the month of September!
Daniela, you do not need to have a dining plan to reserve dining reservations at
'Ohana, or at any restaurant for that matter! If you are a Guest staying at a Disney Resort Collection hotel, you will be able to make
dining reservations 60 days before your arrival for the entire length of your resort stay, up to 10 days! All other Guests can start booking their dining reservations at the 60 days before arrival mark, but they will have to do it on a day-by-day basis.
I love that you are selecting 'Ohana for one of your dining reservations! It has always been one of my favorite meals in one of my favorite resorts at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! My family has enjoyed dinner many times with the amazing view of the Magic Kingdom just outside the 'Ohana window! Make sure you don’t fill up on the Signature 'Ohana Bread, so you have enough room for the 'Ohana Dinner Skillet! The Wood Fire-grilled Black Pepper-Mirin-Teriyaki Beef is making my mouth water as I type this!
My daughter and my grandsons visited the character breakfast at 'Ohana and had a great meal and got to hand out with Stich and his friends! They had a spectacular time!
Daniela, just a recommendation, 60 days before your arrival date, set an alarm for 6am eastern time, that's the time that the dining reservation window opens. I look at this as my first rope drop of my Disney vacation! Have a cheat sheet with the dates of your trip and the days that you plan to visit each resort or theme park handy so you can make the dining reservations on the correct days. Once you get your dining plans set up, you will be able to view them in your My Disney Experience plans. Most dining reservations can be
changed or cancelled up until two hours prior to the reservation time, so if you do need to make changes, it is easy to do.
Daniela, Ohana means family and we are sure happy to have you visit our planDisney family anytime with questions about your upcoming trip! Have a magical day and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
