Does everyone recommend getting the dining plan of some sort?

    Hello Tori,

I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). But I will admit, there are some people in my family who disagree.

I love the convenience of paying for my meals prior to arriving on property. It's one last thing I have to worry about while on vacation.

I like the traditional "Dining Plan" which consists of one table service meal, one quick service meal, and one snack for each night of your stay. I have a sweet tooth so dessert is a big deal. So I appreciate that with my table and quick service meals, you get an entree, a dessert and a non-alcoholic drink. And you can guess that I use my snack credits for a cinnamon roll or danish for breakfast at Main Street Bakery.

I know a lot of people who have complained that the DDP includes a lot of food. But for me and my family, Disney's not just about the attractions and the parks. We love to experience what all the restaurants have to offer too!

One last note: there are a small number of restaurants on property that do not accept the DPP. So if there's one in particular you're dying to try, check their participation.

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
