Hi everyone! I am really looking forward to my family's first Disney vacation, which is in April. My husband and I have four children (11, 9, 6, and 3) we will also be traveling with another adult couple. Does Disney offer private homes or villas?

    Hi Jessica!

Disney doesn't offer private homes or villas (in the sense of something like a private home).  However, they do offer Disney Deluxe Villas which have a lot of room.  A Grand Villa should have enough room to accommodate everybody.  My favorite Disney Deluxe Villas are the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and the Beach Club Villas.  I think both have excellent locations.  If you have any swimmers in your family, you should really look at the Beach Club Villas.  That's because the Beach Club and Yacht Club share the best pool at Walt Disney World:  Stormalong Bay.  It's a sand bottom pool divided into three sections with fun for the whole family, including the youngest children.  For example, the young children can build real sand castles on a sand island in the middle of one of the pools!  You can easily spend an entire day relaxing at the resort!

If you want something more akin to a private house, you would have to look off property.  I'm a fan of All Star Vacation Homes, though remember that if you stay off property you will most definitely need a car to get to and from the theme parks!

Good luck with your decision and write back with more questions!
