Does everyone in your party get a key to the world card? We are coming 2/21-2/28 (20 more days, woohoo!!) and have DDP. Does everyone swipe their card to redeem their dining credits or are they all on the card of who the resort res is under? Thanks!! :)

    Hi Kristen!
Your Key To the World Card has many functions. Yes, everyone in your party gets one. The Key to the World Card is your room key for your Resort so everyone's card will open the door to your Resort room. Also on each Key to the World are your individual Park tickets, so it is important to keep track of all of your individual cards and keep them with you at all times because they are your entrance into the four wonderful Theme Parks of Walt Disney World.

Since you have purchased a Disney Disney Plan, all of your Table Service, Quick Service, and Snack Credits will be on everyone's Key to the World Card.  So if you have four people in your party and are staying for four nights, then you will have 16 Table Service, 16 Counter Service, and 16 Snacks on the cards if you have the standard Disney Dining Plan. One watch out is because all of the credits are on each individual card, if someone in your party uses credits like Snack Credits without letting you know that they used them, then you may run out of credits more quickly than you have planned. I would recommend that only one person in your party be the one that uses their Key to the World Card for all of your dining during your trip. You also can attach a Credit Card to your Key to the World Card and then send charges to your room which will get posted to the Credit Card that you have attached to your Key to the World Card.

I would also recommend that you take a picture of the front and back of all of your Key to the World Cards as soon as you receive them so that in case you lose them you will be able to get replacements made. I always take a photo of my Key to the World Cards with my digital camera or cell phone.

I hope that your Key to World Cards open many magical doors in Walt Disney World on your next vacation!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
