Does everyone need a my disney experience account to have tickets?

Welcome to planDisney, Luanne! Managing theme park tickets, Lightning Lane Passes, dining reservations, and Enchanting Extras can be a lot sometimes, but the My Disney Experience app really simplifies and streamlines things for you. There are a few ways to manage tickets for a group or family, so let's go over the options available to you.

I manage plans for my two small children in the My Disney Experience app, so each person has their own profile under my account. When I purchase tickets I can assign them to my kids, then set up MagicMobile Service for each of them. When I approach the entrance gate at the theme park, I scan my ticket via the pass in my digital wallet, then swipe to my daughter's pass, and finally my son's pass. This way I don't have to worry about anyone losing their Key to the World Card or MagicBand+

If the members of your party or family are older or you don't manage their plans, it might make sense for each person to create their own Disney account. If you go this route, you can add one another to your Family & Friends list to share some plans or go off on your own adventures! You can still assign tickets and make reservations together, but they'd have their own MagicMobile pass in their digital wallet, or they could choose to use a MagicBand+ or Key to the World Card.

That should do it, Luanne! Consider who you'll be traveling with and which of these options makes the most sense for your planning purposes. If you need any more tips or advice, I'll be right here waiting to answer your questions!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
