Hi Mike!
This year's theme is "Let the Memories Begin!". It is all about making memories with your family at Walt Disney World, which is why photos play a HUGE part in the theme. The Magic Kingdom has a special show that is projected onto Cinderella's Castle nightly called The Magic, The Memories and You that shows right before Wishes. This is a beautiful display that transforms the castle into beautiful scenes from around the park, Disney movies and you could even catch yourself up on there!
The photos you are talking about having taken around the parks is called PhotoPass and it is still available! One of the products available is called the PhotoPass CD, which will give you all of your photos taken around the parks on a CD that you can take anywhere locally and have them printed out instead of picking through and purchasing photos individually through Disney. The photo CD is $169.95, but you can
pre-order it for a $50 savings.
Something new this year is called the PhotoPass+, which will give you all of your photos on a photo CD for you to print, but includes select ride photos and restaurant photos. For instance, your photos from Space Mountain and Tower of Terror will be included on your CD as well as photos from Chef Mickey's. The price for this currently is $199.95, but if you
pre-order PhotoPass+, you save $30.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
