Hello everyone! I'm going to disney soon, and it's going to be my one year anniversary two weeks after I visit and we're going to celebrate it while we're in the happiest place on earth. Any suggestions?

    Chloe:

I love to celebrate special events at Disney at their Signature restaurants like California Grill. This restaurant sits atop the Contemporary Resort and boasts a view of the Disney World property like no other. I recommend booking a reservation here about 30 minutes before sunset so that you can not only take in the view during daylight hours but enjoy the lighting of the surrounding resorts and Magic Kingdom below as darkness sets. Best of all, you don't have to go to the Magic Kingdom to take in its fireworks after dinner. If your dinner ends before show time, head to the monorail for a ride and return to the restaurant to access its viewing platform for the fireworks show.

Another splurge to help you celebrate is a fireworks cruise. You can be picked up at one of the Magic Kingdom resort marinas and enjoy a cruise on Bay Lake, Seven Seas Lagoon and the Electrical Water Pageant before the MK fireworks or catch the Illuminations fireworks cruise at one of the Boardwalk resorts that will take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios and around the Boardwalk before ending up under the bridge between Great Britain and France in Epcot. There, you will experience a front row seat to Illuminations. You can call to make reservations for the cruise at 407-939-7529.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
