    Hello everyone! My husband and I are planning a trip to DW in Dec 2012 and he was just diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Are the DW chefs flexable with dietary restrictions? Do we have to state these restrictions when making a reservation? Thanks!!

    Hi Jessica,

    Walt Disney World is a great place to travel if you have dietary restrictions.  The chefs at all of the restaurants are quite flexible and do their best to provide every guest with the best possible experience.  I would advise stating your dietary needs when making a reservation that way the chefs can plan a wonderful meal for you.  However, if you let your server know any restrictions you have when you arrive, they will still be able to help you find a delicious meal option.
