Hi Lisa,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with a great question!
When traveling with a group, I suggest that you simply connect with family and friends using the
My Family & Friends List in
My Disney Experience. Once everyone has a My Disney Experience account, you can send them an invitation to connect through your Family & Friends List. Once you log into My Disney Experience, click on the Family & Friends List and then click on Add a Guest. Once you enter the person's name and age, you should see an option to send that person an invitation to connect. Be sure to use the same email address they have associated with their My Disney Experience account.
Once you are connected with folks, select the option to Share All Plans (including
Disney PhotoPass Photos). Everyone should then be able to see all of the plans. When I have connected with friends and family, I can select them when making
Disney Park Pass system reservations (provided they have valid theme park admission) and when making
advanced dining reservations.
There may be some folks traveling with you for whom you need to manage their plans. My girls do not have their own My Disney Experience accounts, for example, so I created profiles for them and I manage their plans in My Disney Experience. When they log into My Disney Experience, they use my account. I also manage my husband's account. So, just keep in mind that you may need to connect with folks who have their own My Disney Experience accounts and you may need to create a few profiles to manage accounts within your My Disney Experience account.
Lisa, I do hope you have started charting out your plans! Even though we use My Disney Experience, we also create a separate chart to track all of our plans including flight info. What I love about My Disney Experience is that when I make Disney Park Pass system and advanced dining reservations, they link in My Disney Experience and I can see all of those reservations. Seeing the plans makes me happy!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
