Hi Everyone!! Frist trip to WDW w/ DH, DS 3&11 from 6/29-7/6. Staying at the Cont, have the DDP,tickets & Hopper. **Trying to figure out about how much extra spending money we will need**. I already figured out about tips so beyond that? Any sugges

    Hi, Jennifer!

Without knowing your budget, I am hesitant to offer up any kind of concrete "this is what you need" type of answer. But I can give you some suggestions of how you can make that kind of determination by "ball parking" your numbers.

DisneyStore.com offers a healthy selection of Disney Parks merchandise. On the site, you can get a sense of cost of some of the most popular souvenirs: plushes, pins, etc.

Using that as your guide, figure out a rough per-Park estimate, bearing in mind that the availability and variety of items is huge once you are on property.

And for an extra measure of control, put your spending money in a Disney gift card, and leave your credit cards in your in-room safe. Without a credit card assigned to your Key to the World, you are locked into the amount of the gift card. It's a great way, too, for children to feel super grown-up while learning lessons about deferred gratification, budgeting, and smart spending.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
