Hi Everyone! My family will be visiting Magic Kingdom on Jan. 12th and Animal Kingdom on Jan. 13th. We will be celebrating my 30th and my daughter's 8th birthday. Please suggest some special things for us. Is there anything Disney does for us? Thank you!

    Hi Chau!

Walt Disney World is a great place to celebrate a birthday. Be sure to pick up a birthday button at Guest Services in any theme park or at your Disney owned and operated hotel. It will help to alert Disney Cast Members that you are celebrating a birthday or two!

I would suggest a special meal followed by a Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. The fireworks voyage is fabulous and something my family wants to do on every trip. It is a lot of fun watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Seven Seas Lagoon. The cruise leaves from the Contemporary Resort so having a special birthday dinner there or in another monorail resort can make that a magical night.  My family and I love Chef Mickey's, California Grill, Ohana, Kona Cafe, and 1900 Park Fare.

Wherever you decide to dine, you will need to make an Advance Dining Reservation (ADR). ADRs can be made online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE. They are critical for the Table Service (full service) restaurants in Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical trip!
